Don’t wish for the trip of a lifetime, wish for a lifetime of trips. Sometimes when I post trips on Facebook, I get comments such as “wow, it’s a trip of a lifetime”! And when reading that kind of comment, I immediately think, “I hope not!” I fully believe in living in the moment and appreciating every trip I take, but while I’m on a trip, I don’t want to think that it is the best trip I’ll ever take. I think that mentality is what sets apart people who consider travel as an important part of their life versus those who spend their lives dreaming of the day that they will take their “trip of a lifetime”.
